Altered Journals - 10/22/22
I’ve been keeping journals for many, many years, and it’s become my favorite practice! I carry my journal everywhere with me and use it all the time.
I highly recommend using an inexpensive journal. Why? Well, expensive journals are certainly beautiful, but can be intimidating and too precious to “mess up”. In this class, we will be using composition books which are inexpensive, easy to obtain and easy to customize. They remove that worry of messing up, and free you to create, document and experiment as you please!
I use my journal for anything and everything, as I see fit. There are no rules in journaling! Some examples:
- calendar
- daily log
- sketchbook
- goal setting
- list making
- dream tracker
- gratitude lists
- journaling prompts
- books, movie, restaurants lists, bucket list
- gift ideas
- someday / maybe lists
- habit tracking
Workshop fee of $40 per person includes your own composition book and full use of all of our art supplies. Examples of available supplies are:
- stickers
- washi & duct tape
- decorative papers
- maps
- images
- paint, markers
- text
